Committing To Change!

Hello Everyone!

We are all living hectic lives trying to balance all of the many responsibilities that we have, and making time to give our all in our relationships, and to practice self love and care. There is so much in going on in my life every day, so I like to prioritze by using my “To Do” Lists, and my “Not To Worry About Today” List! I then set at least 2-3 realistic goals for the day, and then in the evening, I reflect back to check in with myself to see if I can tweak anything for the following day, or if my lists and set goals are authentic and working for me!

I have three beautiful grown children, an awesome 7 year old grand-daughter, and a man who I adore and am committed to, and so many wonderful friends. I love to stay connected with my children and my honey every day if I can, but sometimes I don’t have the time to have a long conversation with them, and vice versa. So I ask myself, “What could I do as an alternate plan three days a week to stay connected to my loved ones?” Staying connected is of the utmost importance to me, and I believe it is the same for most people.

I knew I could definitely commit to (and I know my family and my honey can as well) texting, calling, emailing and/or visiting three times a week. If we find extra time in the week, awesome! We are staying connected, and at the same time, we are respectful of each other’s time and other responsibilities. We all have different demands on our time, and different schedules, so I text with my daughter, Nicole, every morning and we usually talk every night! My son, Matthew, and I, usually text a few days a week or talk through Facebook, or a phonecall, but he works 60 hours a week, so phonecalls are priceless when we can find the time! My daughter, Olivia, and I, text a couple of times a week, and talk to each other once a week! My honey and I text, email, and talk every day, (yup! all of the above!) and see each other most every day. I am truly blessed!
