BANANA PEACH CREAM TREATS – WENDY BLANCHARD, M.S.

I found a recipe in a Wellness magazine, and tweaked it a bit. These frozen treats are so delicious. The peaches and coconut milk help to sooth and heal skin, and the peaches are full of Vitamin C and beta carotene, which promote collagen formation and protect the skin from the sun. Bananas are full of potassium which promotes good heart health. Coconut milk helps to moisturize the skin. The wheat germ oil adds vitamin E to help reduce inflammation and a preventative in sun damage. The hyaluronic acid and collagen boost the skin’s ability to repair damage, and rejuvenate!

Ingredients:

1 large, very ripe peach
1/2 ripe banana
1-2 teaspoons wheat germ oil
2 capsules (about 1/2 teaspoon) hyaluronic acid
1 teaspoon collagen powder

Instructions:

Peel the skin off of the peach, and take out the pit. Combine in a food processor with banana, coconut milk, wheat germ oil, hyaluronic acid, and collagen powder.

Puree mixture until very smooth. Pour into BPA free popsicle molds and freeze for at least 4-6 hours. Dip the outside of the mold into a bowl of hot water for a few seconds, then remove pops. Serve immediately.

To your good health!

Wendy
